In a low-scoring contest between the Boise Dread Kings and the Winchester Mountaineers, Donny Bisesi was the X factor. The Boise left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Vince Mellon got the save, his 1st in 2 chances. The third-place Dread Kings improved to 60-43.

Boise used the timely hitting of Ryan Doyle to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dread Kings on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Donny gave us everything he had," said Boise manager Roberto Flores.
