Boise Dread Kings starter Allen Ellingson turned in an exceptional performance against the Riverside Rotters at Ballpark of Boise, resulting in a Boise win, 6-2. Boise pitcher Jamie Licht got the win, upping his record to 2-3. Micah Smith got the loss. The second-place Dread Kings now sit at 56-44.

Boise went up, 4-2, on Nick Creswell's 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Creswell hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Riverside pitcher Micah Smith shaking his head.

"Allen showed what he's made of," said Boise manager Sean Drummond.
