Behind an impressive start by Eric Zane, Mesa beat Encinitas, 7-0. With the win, Mesa goes to 60-41, while the Eskimo Brothers fall to 66-35.

Craig Williams had a big 2-run double for the Razor Sharks in the top of the fifth inning. With Mesa leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Dante Warren and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Razor Sharks ahead, 5-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Logan Greening.
