Farmer Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Larry Farmer said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Alcoa Grounds, and it showed in the box score. The Boise first baseman had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Alcoa Millionaires, leading his club to victory, 8-3.

"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Farmer said later."

Larry Farmer singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
