The Aurora Suns took Boise pitcher Rich Lashley's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Suns Field. The final score had Aurora getting past the Dread Kings, 4-3. Lashley went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 7. The winner was Eric Fiedler in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Nate Rivas took the loss. Aurora, now 48-53, holds down 5th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division.

Brian Jantz was the walk-off hero for Aurora. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Suns pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Aurora manager Oscar Figeroa was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
