With Eric Barrett leading the charge, the Aurora Suns defeated the Boise Dread Kings, 6-4. Barrett belted 2 home runs for the Suns. Mike Carachure earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 5-0. The Suns sit in 5th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division with a record of 47-52.

The decisive blow was delivered by Josh Garrett in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jean Thiébaut to win the game for Aurora. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was rockin'," Barrett said.
