Daytona Beach Sea Turtles starter Mark Dudley pitched a strong game against the San Francisco Fire at San Francisco Grounds, leading the Sea Turtles to victory, 8-2. With the loss, San Francisco drops to 13-13.

Daytona Beach used a well-timed hit by George Hutchison to capture the win. The shortstop socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Sea Turtles ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Dudley.
