Razor Sharks Rally For 14-7 Win
The Mesa Razor Sharks knocked off the Aurora Suns, 14-7, at Suns Field. Jim Redford was a big reason Mesa won. The shortstop went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Andy Bennett picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Justin Trunzo suffered the loss. The 4th-place Suns have lost 4 consecutive games.

Mesa needed the clutch hitting of Timmy Coenen to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Razor Sharks on top, 10-6. For the game, Coenen had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
