Streaking Rotters Win Another One, 5-2
The Riverside Rotters earned a win at Rotters Ballpark, stopping the Corpus Christi Mermen, 5-2. Starting pitcher Jimmy Grams played a big role in his team's success. Pete Mead closed the door for Riverside, picking up his 5th save of the year. Riverside, having won 10 in a row, is now 69-25.

Aarto Turkula, who is tied for 2nd in the E-AA in bases on balls with 51, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With two out and the bases loaded, the Riverside second baseman hit a 2-run single. That put the Rotters in front, 4-2.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Grams.
