Daytona Beach Gets 12-7 Win
At Reedy River Stadium, the Carolina Reapers and Daytona Beach Sea Turtles were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles powered past the Carolina Reapers, 12-7, at Reedy River Stadium. Marcos Santiago provided some of the pop. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 3 times. The Sea Turtles, with only their 7th win in 25 games, could be the worst team in the league.

Daytona Beach relied on the bat of Russ Reinertsen to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Sea Turtles ahead, 2-0. For the game, Reinertsen had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Reinertsen said. "We did a good job of that today."
