|
The Alcoa Millionaires beat the Libertyville Polecats by a score of 3-2. Alcoa first baseman Gabe Rosenblatt deserved the lion's share of the credit. Rosenblatt went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Millionaires. Gabe Lopez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. His record is now 3-3. The losing streak for Libertyville has now reached 4 games.
John Wilson, who is tied for 3rd in the E-AA in hits with 98, helped out the Alcoa cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.
