Benefiting from Alex Aime's productive game, the Mesa Razor Sharks downed the Traverse City Bears, 6-5. Aime went 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Razor Sharks. Victor Benavidez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 4-2. The Razor Sharks saw their win-loss record go to 52-40. At the same time, the Bears fell to 25-67.

Had Alevina Dano not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Dano hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Razor Sharks.
