The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers defeated the Boise Dread Kings, 7-2, in Eastern AA action at EBDBBNB Park. Encinitas pitcher Miguel Rodriguez had a standout performance. Encinitas has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

Early in the game, right fielder Tim Schellin had a 3-run home run for Encinitas. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Eskimo Brothers on top, 3-1.

"Miguel throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Encinitas manager Logan Greening.
