Suns Get One-Run Win at Libertyville
The Aurora Suns topped the Libertyville Polecats, 4-3, in Eastern AA action at Field of the Polecats. The standout performance belonged to Aurora pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Vicente Perez. Aurora now sits at 46-42, while Libertyville falls to 44-44.

Aurora used a clutch hit from Danny Rankins to snatch the win. The left fielder belted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Suns ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"They were just a little bit better than us," Libertyville manager Justin Thiede said.
