Suns Suffer One-Run Loss at Libertyville
A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Eric Kraft, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2020 draft, led the Libertyville Polecats to a win over the Aurora Suns, 4-3. At 44-43, Libertyville is in third place in the Eastern AA Northern Division.

Kraft contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Libertyville in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Kraft took a fastball from Mel Mercado and stroked the home run to right-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Polecats to leap in front, 3-2.

"We ground out the win," said Kraft. "That's all that matters."
