Rotters Fall Short, 2-1, at Aurora
Sean Gary, who is tied for 9th in the E-AA with a 7.4 K/9 rate, never let the Rotters get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Suns to a win, 2-1. Picking up the save was 32-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Maughan. With the win, Aurora has a record of 55-33. Riverside falls to 60-28.

Aurora center fielder Justin Polk helped the Suns go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Polk hit a run-scoring single off Riverside pitcher Chase Lovett.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Riverside manager Hermenegildo Fernando, "let me know."
