Caribou Stumble, Lose to Fire
|
San Francisco turned a good effort from starter James Dobyns into a win over the Vancouver Caribou at Mounties Field. The Fire won the game, 9-2. Dobyns got the win, improving to 4-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. San Francisco is now 13-12.
Jonathan Kober, who is tied for 5th in the NC in RBI with 20, chipped in a 3-run home run for San Francisco in the top of the first. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
