The Riverside Rotters weathered an outstanding game by Boise left fielder Manuel Campos to topple the Dread Kings, 6-5. Campos hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jose Betancourt was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. With the win, Riverside upped its record to 62-26.

In the top of the second, Riverside catcher Chris Anderson whacked a slider to center for a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season put the Rotters in front, 4-2.

"Being in first place now is good," said Anderson. "Being in first at the end of the season is better. That's our goal."
