The Traverse City Bears downed the Alcoa Millionaires, 11-10, at Greensboro Grounds. Jamie Flowers led the way, going 2-for-4 for Traverse City. The win went to Jim Unknown in relief, making him now 1-0. Chris Johnson took the loss for Alcoa. Traverse City, with the win, sits at 22-65.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Justin Carson in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Johnson to win it for Traverse City and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"This place was rockin'," said Flowers.
