Razor Sharks Pull Out Late-Game Win, 2-1
|
The Mesa Razor Sharks, despite a fine performance by Rohnert Park pitcher Cory Cirello, grabbed a 2-1 win at Razor Sharks Ballpark. Cirello allowed 1 run over 7 innings. Mesa is now 54-31.
Ty Lynch was the walk-off hero for Mesa. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Razor Sharks first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We busted our tails," said Rohnert Park manager Josh Dix. "But we came up short."
