Routh Excels, But Eskimo Brothers Win
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Encinitas fans at EBDBBNB Park.

Alcoa third baseman Corey Routh had a good game, even if his team did not. The Millionaires dropped a 6-5 decision to Encinitas at EBDBBNB Park. Routh was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Vinny Luna picked up the save, his 3rd.

Danny Lucena chipped in for Encinitas, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the center fielder went 1-3 with a walk, while scoring 2.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Alcoa manager . "The effort was great."

The Eskimo Brothers win now puts them at 56-29.
