Razor Sharks Roll to 8-2 Win Over Dread Kings
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old left fielder Pete Beauford, the Mesa Razor Sharks stopped the Boise Dread Kings, 8-2, in 9 innings. Mesa reliever Josh Buxton picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Alex Lozada was saddled with the loss. Their 50-35 record puts the Razor Sharks third in the Eastern AA Southen Division.

Mesa used the clutch hitting of John Richins to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Razor Sharks the lead, 4-2. For the game, Richins had 2 singles and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Razor Sharks," said Beauford.
