Hutchison Hits 2 home runs in Razor Sharks Win
|
Led by Don Hutchison, the Mesa Razor Sharks downed the Rohnert Park Cougars, 6-2. Hutchison hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Razor Sharks. John Sherline was the winner. He's now 6-6. The loser was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Orlando Roque. Mesa, at 42-43, holds down 4th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division.
With Mesa leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Hutchison hit a sinker from Orlando Roque for a solo home run. It was his 26th home run of the season and put the Razor Sharks ahead, 2-0.
Hutchison told a Mesa Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
