Eskimo Brothers Suffer 6-4 Home Defeat
The Mesa Razor Sharks topped the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, 6-4, in Eastern AA action at EBDBBNB Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mesa pitcher Nate Roberson. Roberson, now 5-4, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The save went to David Cooper, his 2nd this season.

With Mesa leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Joel Vaughn hit a run-scoring single off Encinitas pitcher Miguel Rodriguez. It put the Razor Sharks ahead 3-1.

"We took home the win," said Vaughn. "What's not to like?"

Mesa is now 37-46, Encinitas 58-25.
