The Alcoa Millionaires got a superb performance from pitcher Brian Miller, but the Fresno Running Rebels still won the game, 1-0. Miller threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Fresno, now 37-46, holds down 5th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division.

Jared Scafidi, who is tied for 7th in the E-AA in doubles with 16, had a direct impact on the outcome. Scafidi contributed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put Fresno up, 1-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Scafidi told the Fresno Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
