Lazarus Delivers Walk-Off Win for Suns
The Aurora Suns used the hitting of right fielder Ray Baker to subdue the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, 10-8. For the game, Baker was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Aurora reliever Jimmy Guyton was the winner. His record is now 5-3. The losing pitcher was Danny Martinez. The second-place Suns sport a record of 52-31.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Aurora. That's when 31-year old catcher Nolan Lazarus hit a 2-run home run off Danny Martinez to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
