Rohnert Park starter Joe Russell pitched well against the Winchester Mountaineers at Ballpark of Greenup. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Rohnert Park currently is in last place in the Eastern AA Southen Division at 38-45.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Rohnert Park catcher David Byerly, facing Jaheim Johnson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Cougars the 4-3 win.
