The Aurora Suns got a strong performance from pitcher Eric Fiedler, who stymied the Mesa offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Razor Sharks Ballpark. Aurora bumps their record to 34-44 with the win.
Aurora used the timely hitting of Cameron Polen to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Suns ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
Fiedler attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
