Plowman Powers Dread Kings to 6-4 Win
|
Boise designated hitter Tim Plowman had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Traverse City Bears, 6-4. The win gives Boise a season record of 40-37.
With Boise leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Plowman hit a slider from Armando Ramirez for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Dread Kings ahead, 4-0.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Plowman told the Boise Chronicle.
