Rohnert Park got a strong outing from Kyle Yearwood as the Cougars defeated the Traverse City Bears, 4-0, at Ballpark of Greenup. Rohnert Park reliever Jim Hudson snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Armando Ramirez shouldered the loss. Jason Senita recorded the save, his 6th.

Tony Gonzalez was 1 for 3 for Rohnert Park. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Gonzalez had a clutch at-bat. Facing Traverse City hurler Ahmed Harris, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Gonzalez. "And not try to do too much."
