Rohnert Park Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Rohnert Park left fielder Ryan Bone made his presence felt in the 8-6 Cougars triumph over the Winchester Mountaineers. Bone was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Dave Flores in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Travis Espinoza took the loss. The Cougars improved their record to 42-30 by beating Winchester.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Rohnert Park trailing 6-4, Bone jumped on a slider from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Mark Burkhart and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Cougars had a walk-off win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Bone.
