Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers and Fresno Running Rebels.

Though he had a terrific game, Sam Bingle could not prevent his team, the Fresno Running Rebels, from absorbing a loss. Encinitas won the game, 4-3. Bingle went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Kenny Fuzzell earned the save, his 3rd.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Armando Gomez? The Encinitas left fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put the Eskimo Brothers on top, 2-0. For the game, Gomez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"This was a good win," said Gomez.

The win elevated the Eskimo Brothers to 48-26.
