Millionaires Take Nail-Biter Over Running Rebels
The Alcoa Millionaires defeated the Fresno Running Rebels, 15-14, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman John Wilson, who was 5 for 6 with a home run, a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for the Millionaires. The winner was Gabe Lopez in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Jim Unknown took the loss. The 5th-place Running Rebels have lost 4 straight games.

The Millionaires got a clutch hit from catcher Justin Kreger. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Millionaires.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Kreger said.
