Razor Sharks Topple Eskimo Brothers, 7-3
|
Good production from right fielder Don Hutchison helped the Mesa Razor Sharks topple the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, 7-3. Hutchison went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Razor Sharks. Isiah Key got the win, improving to 8-5. He held the Eskimo Brothers to 1 run on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Their 33-38 record puts the Razor Sharks 5th in the Eastern AA Southen Division.
With Mesa leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Hutchison batted against Encinitas pitcher Chi-yong Har. Hutchison hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 21st home run of the season put the Razor Sharks on top, 4-0.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Hutchison told the Mesa Citizen.
