Big Day for Beauford in 4-2 Razor Sharks Win
Mesa left fielder Pete Beauford contributed significantly to his team's 4-2 win over the Rohnert Park Cougars. Beauford, who is tied for 8th in the E-AA with a .679 slugging percentage, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Razor Sharks. The Razor Sharks improved their record to 42-27 with the win over Rohnert Park.

Jimmy Olivares had a direct impact on the outcome. Olivares contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put Mesa up, 2-0.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Beauford said in reaction to the win.
