Eskimo Brothers Rally Late to Clip Mesa
The Eskimo Brothers grabbed a win, 1-0, at EBDBBNB Park, overcoming a fine effort from Mesa pitcher Jose Rivera. Rivera went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Encinitas pitcher Brian Hayden earned the win, hiking his record to 5-2. Adam Hinton suffered the loss. This win makes it 8 in a row for Encinitas.

Matt Anderson played the role of hero for Encinitas. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a solo home run off Adam Hinton to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Anderson.
