The Boise Dread Kings and Alcoa Millionaires played an entertaining game for Ballpark of Boise patrons.

The Boise Dread Kings defeated the Alcoa Millionaires, 4-3, at Ballpark of Boise. Leading the charge for Boise was right fielder Chris Charney. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. After today's action, Boise sits at 39-28; Alcoa slips to 28-39.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bobby McKeown in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Gabe Lopez to win the game for Boise. The home crowd went nuts.

In postgame comments to the Boise Citizen, Charney said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
