Burke Whacks 2 Home Runs in 12-4 Win
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers soundly defeated the Mesa Razor Sharks, 12-4, at Razor Sharks Ballpark, with center fielder Colin Burke a major reason why. He was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Encinitas. Mark Moore, the winning pitcher, improved to 9-0. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 3. At 42-24, Encinitas is in second place in the Eastern AA Northern Division.

With Encinitas leading 8-3 in the top of the seventh, Burke batted against Mesa pitcher Nate Peercy. Burke hit a cutter to left for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Eskimo Brothers on top, 12-3.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Burke.
