Bears Drop Razor Sharks, 6-3, with Late Score
|
The Traverse City Bears dealt the Mesa Razor Sharks a 6-3 loss at Greensboro Grounds. Rich Raddatz was the star on offense. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win went to Danny Arroyo in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Matt McCracken took the loss. Chris Bentley earned his 13th save, after closing out the game.
Raddatz had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 3-1 sinker from Matt McCracken, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bears a 5-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Raddatz.
"Winning never gets dull," said Raddatz.
