Mobile left fielder Aaron Sullivan had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-3, to Rohnert Park at Ballpark of Greenup. Sullivan went 2-2 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times. Chris Bell picked up the win, lifting his record to 5-4 on the season. He struck out 9 and walked 1 in 6 innings, while yielding 2 runs. The third-place Cougars have won 4 straight games.
Eddie Drury, who is tied for 7th in the E-AA in triples with 2, took Mobile hurler Alex Alvarez deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Cougars on top, 2-0. In all, Drury had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
