Bears Lose Again, 9-2, to Dread Kings
The Boise Dread Kings thumped the Traverse City Bears, 9-2, at Greensboro Grounds. Dwayne Cook was a big reason his team got the win. Cook was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Boise has now won 7 games in a row.

With Boise leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth, Cook hit a changeup from Pat Potter for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Dread Kings ahead, 7-1.

"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Zach Hildebrant.
