Behind a fine performance from Josh Keiser, the Traverse City Bears knocked off the Libertyville Polecats, 6-5. Keiser went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bears. The win went to Matt Bandy in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Danny Villa took the loss. With the win, the Bears are 21-42.

Traverse City got a big at-bat from East Point, Georgia native Cody Brown, who in the bottom of the third hit a run-scoring double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Bears ahead, 6-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Keiser told the Traverse City Gazette.
