John Richins left his imprint on the 17-16 Mesa win against the Alcoa Millionaires. Richins, who is tied for 5th in the E-AA in stolen bases with 12, was 3-4 with 3 singles and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Mesa reliever Nick Beaton snagged the win, upping his record to 3-0. Vince Silcox shouldered the loss. With the win, Mesa raised its record to 39-23.

Mike Henschel was the walk-off hero for Mesa. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Razor Sharks shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
