Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old first baseman John Campbell, the Alcoa Millionaires defeated the Mesa Razor Sharks, 5-2. Vince Silcox picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Oscar Flores suffered the loss. Jim Unknown nailed down his 1st save.

With two out in the top of the second, George Coler put Alcoa in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Millionaires went on to win the ballgame.
