Eskimo Brothers Keep Streak Alive With 8-5 Win
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers powered past the Rohnert Park Cougars, 8-5, at Ballpark of Greenup. Danny Lucena was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2, to lead the charge. Vinny Luna picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Chris London was tagged with the loss. Now 40-20, the Eskimo Brothers have won 14 in a row.

Encinitas used a well-timed hit by Dan Tillery to capture the win. The catcher socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Eskimo Brothers ahead, 6-5. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning never gets old," said Eskimo Brothers manager Logan Greening.
