Wenzel belts 2 home runs to Power Rotters Offense
The Riverside Rotters used the hitting of first baseman Gene Wenzel to subdue the Corpus Christi Mermen, 9-5. For the game, Wenzel was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 5. The winner in relief was Kurt Neal. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings.
