Fleet Lose By a Run at San Francisco
In a tight tilt between the San Francisco Fire and the San Diego Fleet, James Dobyns was the deciding factor. The San Francisco right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. San Francisco reliever Justin Brownlee got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Lorenzo Landin was tagged with the loss. With the loss, San Diego falls to 12-12.

San Francisco took a 3-2 lead on Jeff Mullinax's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Mullinax hit in the bottom of the seventh, left San Diego pitcher Lorenzo Landin visibly frustrated.
