Captains Stumble, Lose to Pines
Maine Pines starter Matt Graham was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Tampa Bay Captains, 9-1. The winning pitcher was Graham, now 1-0. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 9. Nick Slover finished to wrap up his 1st save.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Valverde told a Maine Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
