Big Day for Gohlke as Cougars Down Dread Kings, 12-7
A 5-RBI performance from the 21-year old first baseman Mike Gohlke helped the Rohnert Park Cougars beat the Boise Dread Kings, 12-7. Rohnert Park's record now stands at 24-33, placing them last in the Eastern AA Southen Division.

Rohnert Park used the timely hitting of Aaron Coulson to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cougars on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We maximized our offense today," said Rohnert Park skipper Ramiro Mendiola. "That makes everyone's life easier."
