Cougars Rally to Win
|
The Rohnert Park Cougars handed the Boise Dread Kings a loss at Ballpark of Boise. The final score was 7-3. David Pierce was one of the major contributors for Rohnert Park. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 4. Rohnert Park now sports a record of 29-29.
Pierce had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Jamie Licht, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Cougars a 7-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Pierce.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Pierce told the Rohnert Park Citizen.
