Neal Impressive in 4-1 Aurora Triumph
|
Aurora Suns starter Kurt Neal pitched his team past the Winchester Mountaineers, 4-1. Vicente Perez earned his 4th save, after closing out the game. The third-place Suns bumped their record to 32-25.
Neal was in the zone all game. He frustrated Winchester hitters while giving the Suns 7.1 innings of quality work. Neal threw 100 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
"Kurt did a good job keeping the game under control," said Aurora manager Oscar Figeroa.
