Riverside took on Aurora in front of a lively crowd.

Riverside registered a win at Rotters Ballpark by beating the Aurora Suns, 4-1. Pitcher Chase Lovett was one reason why the Rotters triumphed. Riverside goes to 38-18. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.

The Rotters benefited from an error in the bottom of the third inning. Riverside was leading 2-1 when Bobby Shrader hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Riverside in front, 3-1.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Lovett.
